I have the honour to inform you that the Un- -official Members of the Legislative Council recently recommend. -ed that all hospital deductions in the Police Force should be abolished except in the case of illness due to indiscretion.

2. After giving the matter careful consideration I decided that the charges might fairly be reduced as shown in the enclosed table, and this decision has been duly promulgated.
